Agricultural manufacturers and Canada’s Food & Agri-Tech Engine to collaborate on agtech innovation

Bioenterprise Canada & Agricultural Manufacturers of Canada sign MOU

The Agricultural Manufacturers of Canada (AMC) and Bioenterprise Canada, Canada’s Food & Agri-Tech Engine, have agreed to work together to support the development of world-class agricultural technology. The two organizations have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on innovation opportunities and provide commercialization services to innovative start-ups, entrepreneurs, research organizations and firms in the agricultural sector.

“Agricultural technologies are accelerating at an exponential pace, and we are excited to welcome AMC and its members as part of the Engine,” says Bioenterprise Canada CEO Dave Smardon. “AMC members are recognized leaders in innovation, and we look forward to cultivating opportunities and collaborations that will foster innovative, world-leading “Made in Canada” products and services to advance agricultural manufacturing across the country.”

AMC is Canada’s only association dedicated exclusively to agricultural equipment manufacturing – worth more than $3 billion in 2021 – and actively identifies and drives opportunities that support the growth of its member companies and their local economies. AMC members will benefit from Bioenterprise Canada’s national network of experts, supporters, partners and funders, as well as its extensive mentorship and business support service offering.
